The Journey

Boaz starts by cutting out the top from German Spruce. The small shape is elegant and will allow for comfortable playing.

The back is braced in true Clarita fashion. The Flying Braces allow the back to move, producing a second soundboard.

The Brazilian Rosewood with amazing sap contact is sandwiched with triple binding and swordfish inlay.

Boaz uses a hand saw to cut the frets into the fingerboard.

Boaz uses only the finest materials available, and staying true to the original design concept has offered,

-Rare Akaido Spruce top
-Highly figured Brazilian Rosewood neck, back, and sides
-Ivory Fingerboard
-Ebony/Silkwood triple binding
-Gilbert machine heads
-Special edition solid gold label w/ hand-carved grapevine

Mr. Kelly opted for 17" scale length tenor ukulele with a slotted classical headstock.

Due to its compact size the amount of work needed is actually more than a normal sized guitar. It has been moderately priced at $12,000.
