The Rajan Spolia project

Raj is a very special musician from India. First time he called me he explained that he wanted a Clarita Negra steel string, and he asked what are the upgrade options.

I told him that the Clarita Negra doesn't
need an upgrade. It's all included. After a few times we talked, discussing the sound board options, Raj chose a rare Akaido spruce.

Why ?  Because I told him it's magical..

Akaido is a wood that even in Japan is hard to find. I have only a handful of them from the year 1964. The last instrument I built with that wood was a Ukulele to my dear client Mike Kely. This ukulele was magical, and I hope to deliver to wonderful Raj a magical Clarita Negra.

For those of you who wanna hear a
guitar flavored with east Indian spices, I truly recommend Raj's cds. He's a brilliant musician.

Please join us in the Raj project. Photos will be delivered on a weekly basis.

The Clarita Negra with no extras, is 14,000 US $.

Press to hear Rajan playing.
